Jeff is a skilled attorney whose practice focuses on both state and federal criminal cases, attorney ethics matters, and professional ethics for judges and prosecutors. He has served as counsel in criminal hearings and trials and has successfully represented clients during government investigations. Moreover, he is ready to assist individuals in matters related to Attorney Grievance Committees, the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct, and the New York State Commission on Prosecutorial Conduct.

Jeff joined Dordrecht Layton after working in private practice on criminal matters, along with experience being both an Assistant Public Defender and Assistant District Attorney.

During law school, Jeff interned for the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, and the New York State Division of Human Rights.

He is a graduate of John Jay College and the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Prior to law school, Jeff worked at the Bowery Residents’ Committee, one of New York City’s largest providers of housing and services for individuals experiencing homelessness.
